Kevin McBride- Drums

Kevin began playing drums at the age of 10. In junior high school he joined the Marching Band and Jazz Band, as well as starting numerous "garage" bands with friends. In high school he played with symphonic bands, orchestras, played drums for the local jazz groups, and studied music theory. It was during this time that Kevin developed a love of performing in reperatory theatre productions.

After high school, he began playing regularly at local clubs and bars, and continued this for the next 12 years, honing his craft. Many of these gigs required working with a band after little or no rehearsal.

Although he finds himself influenced by country music, Kevin has played all styles inluding Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk, Folk, Heavy Metal, Blues, and R&B. He has been featured on numerous recordings for artists such as Trent Montgomery, Jake Williams, Java Boys,and Chowderhead.

Kevin also teaches Drums and Percussion to students of all ages, and finds teaching keeps him on his toes, as well as being lots of fun!

He uses Yamaha drums, Vic Firth drumsticks, and Remo heads exclusively.
